Baripada-Talbond Railway

The Baripada-Talbond Railway was a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) extension to the NG Mayurbhanj Railway, owned by private company belonging to the Princely Mourbhanj State. [1].

The line opened in 1920 joining Baripada to Talbond(now named Talbandh), a length of 38 miles(61km) and was maintained, managed and worked by the Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR).
