Lieutenant St. George Meadows Bishop - 6th Bengal Cavalry - killed in action at Shabkadar - 5th December 1863. Aged 22. Son of General George Bishop (Bengal Infantry). Born in Darjeeling. Buried at Peshawar - "Erected by his brother officers to the memory of Lieut. St. George M. Bishop 6th Bengal Cavalry, killed in action at Shabkadar in an engagement with the hill tribes December 5th 1863, aged 22 years."
