The '''Ranaghat-Krishnanager Krishnagar Light Railway'''was a privately owned ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge([[Rail_gauge#Narrow_Gauge|NG]]) line worked by [[Martin's Light Railways]] Company. The lineopened in 1899 connecting [[Aistalaghat]] to [[Krishnagar]], a distance of 27 miles(43km). In 1904 the line was taken over by the state and the railway became part of the NG of [[Eastern Bengal Railway]](EBR)
