The Tharsa Tramway was a private steam tramway constructed by the Central India Mining Company to carry the ore from the mines near Ramtek to the Bengal-Nagpur Railway(BNR) line at Tharsa station. [1]
This line was a private concern, and was intended for the carriage of minerals only. It was a 2ft/610mm narrow gauge(NG) line and steam traction was employed. Its length was about 14 miles(22km). [2]
No other information has been found concerning this tramway.
