The '''Dwara-Therria Light Railway''' opened in about 1902 to carry limestone. The 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge([[Rail_gauge#REDIRECT Narrow_Gauge|NG]]) line was authorised to run from Dwara Bazar north-eastwards to Therria Ghat, a station on the [[Cherra-Companyganj Railway]]. The main traffic was to be limestone. The promoter died in 1904 and the company building the line went into liquidation in 1909.
