Cornwallis besieged Seringapatam from the 7th February 1792 until the Treaty of Seringaptam was agreed on the 18th March. During the siege actions occured at various locations including an attack on the post at Carigat Hill and the storming of the Eadgah Redoubt (or Bastion - part of the Seringapatam lines).
