The '''Kamptee-Deolapar-Ramtek Railway''' was a private company. They applied in 1903 to construct a narrow gauge([[Rail_gauge#Narrow_Gauge|NG]]) light railway from the north bank of the Kanhan river at [[Kamptree]] to [[Deolapar]] with a branch to Munsar to [[Ramtek]]. | |||
The line was to be 34 miles(55 km) in length to carry the produce from the manganese mines in Ramtek, much of the track would be on public roads. | |||
