The Chota Nagpur Regiment were a mounted auxiliary regiment.

Chronology

  • 1891 raised as the Chota Nagpur Mounted Rifles on the 7th August [1] by W.H.Grimley[2]
  • 1810 reconstituted Chota Nagpur Light Horse 2nd March[3]
  • 1917 became the Chota Nagpur Regiment, 1st April[3]
