Herbert Ringwood of the East Surrey Regiment was appointed Adjutant in 1892 for five years, and was promoted to Major during that time. He was replaced in 1897 by Capt. T.G.C. Reynolds, 2nd Batt. Royal Iniskilling Fusiliers.
