The Netrakona–Mohanganj Railway was constructed between 1912 and 1918 by the Mymensingh–Bhairab Bazar Railway Company .
It was branch-line connecting to the Dacca Section of the Eastern Bengal Railway (EBR) (Narayanganj to Bahadurabad Ghat section) and was worked by EBR. [1]
The line was taken over by the government in 1948–49 and is now under the jurisdiction of Bangladesh Railway
