The Jhansi-Konch-Kalpi Railway was the initial section of the Indian Midland Railway(IMR) network, opened in 1886. It line when completed linked Jhansi-Konch-Kalpi
The IMR had a comparatively brief existence before being amalgamated in 1900 with the Great Indian Peninsula Railway(GIPR).
