Some confusion here. Battles & Actions in British India 1600-1900 says the Battle of Kineyri took place on 18 June 1848. Accounts describe the battle on that day as at Noonaree 5 miles from Shujaabad. Some confusion here. Battles & Actions in British India 1600-1900 says the Battle of Kineyri took place on 18 June 1848. Accounts describe the battle on that day as at Noonaree 5 miles from Shujaabad. A description [1] records a battle with the same commanders at Kineri (sic) in May.
