- 1857 became the 21st Bengal Native Infantry
- 1861 became the 1st Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1901 became the 1st Brahman Infantry
- 1903 became the 1st Brahmans
- 1922 became 4th/1st Punjab Regiment
- 1931 disbanded
