- 1794 raised by the 4th Duke of Gordon as the 100th Regiment of Foot
- 1798 became 92nd Regiment of Foot (Gordon Highlanders)
4th Raising
- 1824 raised in Ireland as the 100th Regiment of Foot
- 1816 renamed 99th Regiment of Foot
- 1818 disbanded
