There is mention of Dharoor in Hyderabad and a battle between the Nizam and Mahrattas in mid 18th century. Google gives coordinates of 18.4715 789047.
There is also mention of the Ahmar-Dharoor people in Bari, Somalia and Google gives coordinates of 10.555 49.68333. As Fibiwiki Excel spreadsheet gives date as February 1851 and opponents as Arabs perhaps the latter is the one.
