Andheri Tramway Company
The Andheri Tramway Company is mentioned in the India Office Records (IOR) stated below. No further information has been found.
It is thought that the Company was formed and authorised to construct an Electric Tram from Andheri (which is 4 km north of Bombay/Mumbai city centre) to Mantralaya (which is about 16km south of the city centre).
It appears this project did not go ahead – this is pending clarification.
