Baria State Railway

The Baria State Railway was an Independent Princely railway owned by Baria State; The line was a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) railway; opened 1863.

Later (date not determined) became the Baria-Piplod State Railway; also known as Piplod-Devgad-Baria Railway linking the towns of Baria and Piplod

The line was worked by Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway(BB&CIR) and confirmed in an agreement dated 1929[1].

In 1948 the railway was merged to form the Saurashtra Railway
