Dhilwan Sleeper Works Railway

A sleeper and pole works, built by the North Western Railway(NWR), located on the Beas River between Dhilwan and Beas in the Kapurthala District of the Punjab. The Sleeper Works opened in Aug 1923 and had nearly 3 miles(4.8km) broad gauge(BG) and 2½ miles(4km) 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) of tracks. The records show the locomtives and wagons supplied to the works [1].
