In the mourn memory of Captain Charles Schofield, 4th Punjab Infantry.
Born 1862, West Dulwich.
Buried at the New Cemetery, Dera Ismail Khan.
His grave couldn’t have been identified without the sincere efforts of Dr. Qaisar Abbas Bhatti, who personally excavated the partially hidden tombstone and made the print on it visible legible for all to read. He also removed the excessive vegetation it had gathered over time and made the inscription visible.
