District Order No X760f 18 5 I9Z0 Funeral of the Late King-Emperor on 20th 5 10 To all Station Masters Khushab District

In continuation of my Telegram no 678Gof 18/5/10 I beg to send the following instructions to ensure the arrangements being duly carried out in the event of the Telegram not having been received Station Masters Guards and all other staff are requested to remember that this procedure is being adopted throughout the British Dominions as a mark of respect to the memory of the Late King-Emperor & they are invited to carry out these instructions to the letter accordingly.
I. The Funeral will take place at 12 noon & all trains which may be between stations will stop wherever they may be from 12 to 12.15 & all trains at stations will stop shunting or moving during this period of time.
II. No work of any kind must be done at stations during this time by the staff & the Station Master will arrange to parade all the staff in front of the station in their cleanest uniform & he will explain to them why they have been paraded.
As far as is possible silence should be maintained during this period of time. I look to Station Masters to carry out these instructions in the spirit in which they are issued
