User:Carpenteruk2000 writes "my grandfather served with the Northumberland Fusiliers and this is a picture we have of him (I've repaired it as much as I can). It obviously shows the winning football team from the Simla Volunteer Rifles, Viceroys Cup football match 1914, before I take it they returned to england for the great war. My grandfather was also a good swimmer and swam the river in the Boer War to rescue the rum ration."
