The Nadiad-Kapadvanj Railway was a 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) line, opened in 1913, a length of 28 miles(45km) and served from Nadiad. The railway was owned and managed by the Guzerat Railway Company. [1] [2]

The company was taken over by the Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway(BB&CIR) in 1922
