'''North West Frontier Province''' was created out of [[Punjab]] in 1901. It was part of the [[Bengal Presidency]] and it is now a province of [[Pakistan]]. In Marach March 2010, it was decided to rename the province as Khyber-Pakhtoonwa. However, the constitutional amendment to make it official has to still be passed in the National Assembly.
