Robert Walpole

Lt-General Sir Robert Walpole (1808-1876) was a British soldier who went to India with the Rifle Brigade in 1857. He commanded a brigade at Cawnpore and a division at Lucknow. He took part in the Rohilcund Campaign. He left India in 1861.
