Originally built to 2' 6" Narrow Gauge([[Rail_gauge#Narrow_Gauge|NG]]) as a Tramway, it was converted to Metre Gauge([[Rail_gauge_#Metre_Gauge|MG]]) to match the other lines in [[Gujerat]] and [[Kathiawar]].
