The Vijapur-Kalol-Kadi Railway was a metre gauge(MG) line completed in 1903 with a length of 41 miles(65km). The line was owned by the Princely Baroda State and worked by Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway(BB&CIR) [1] [2]

The MG line of 41 miles(65km) opened 1902-3 from Vijapur to Kadi and extended by a further 5 miles(8km) in 1912 [1]

Appoval was granted in 1916 for the ‘Bhoyani Road-Bochraji Extension’, a further 21 miles(34km) [3]
