The Navsari-Kamrej Light Railway was sanctioned in 1914 to construct a steam tramway of 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) linking Navsari to Kamrej, in the suburbs of Surat in Gujarat, with a line length of 20 miles (32km). The proposal by the Baroda Durbar had not been commenced at the time of the 1918 Administration Report. [1]

The 1918 Administration Report classified this under Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway(BB&CIR) who presumably would work the tramway as part of the BB&CIR network.

The project did not progress
