Robert Lowthian Trevithick (1848-1932), worked as Superintendent of locomotive construction, etc., with the Great Indian Peninsular Railway Company between 1889 and 1901[1].

Grandson of the Richard Trevithick (1771-1833) the British inventor, engineer and builder of the first working railway steam locomotivewell [2].
