  • 1861 became 12th Bengal Native Infantry
  • 1864 became 12th (Khelat-i-Ghilzie) Bengal Infantry
  • 1903 became 12th (Khelat-i-Ghilzie) Pioneers
  • 1922 became 2nd/2nd Bombay Pioneers
  • 1929 became The Corps of Bombay Pioneers
  • 1933 disbanded
