Eastern Bengal Railway Personnel - a sub-section of Eastern Bengal Railway(EBR) page.
Personnel
There are no staff agreements for EBR personnel held at the British Library in the India Office Records.
However as the following employment records held in the IOR are relevant :-
- L/AG/46/10/35 “Contracts of appointment (1862-1869)”
- FIBIS database List of Indian Railways UK Contracted Staff taken from IOR Series L/AG/46/12.

- Bradford Leslie, English civil engineer who specialised in bridges, sent to India as engineer in charge of bridges and viaducts. 1865, became Chief Engineer and Agent in 1876 [1][2].
- Franklin Prestage Agent for the EBR from the early 1870's. 1879 and 1880 ‘Railway Conference’ delegate
- J Brander, Locomotive Superintendent 1880 ‘Railway Conference’ delegate
- Alfred Brereton, 1887, Executive Engineer; District Traffic Superintendent, 1888; Deputy Manager, 1891-93 [3].
- Richard Arthur Sargeaunt, 1887-88, EBR Offg. Manager [4].
- Arthur Sampson Jameson, 1888-1901, EBR Locomotive Superintendent [5].
- Boswell Parkinson Milsom, 1891-93, Officiating Deputy Manager [6].
