Edward Hughes

Sir Edward Hughes RN (c. 1720-1794) was a naval officer who commanded the British fleet in the East Indies and took part in the 2nd Mysore War against the French. He fought a series of engagements against the French admiral Pierre André de Suffren during the East Indies Campaign.
