Jaipur City Refuse Disposal Tramway The Imperial Gazetteer of India for 1908 records that ‘The refuse from the Jaipur city is removed by a light tramway drawn by buffaloes and incinerators have been erected at convenient spots’ [1]


No further information has been found and it is not known the period for which this service was in operation.
