Junagadh Salt & Chemical Works Railway, Bherai

The ‘Junagadh Salt & Allied Chemical Works’ at Bherai, Ameri District, Gujarat State, was a salt manufacturing company who were granted their original leaser in 1943 [1].

The records show that they were operating two 2ft/610mm narrow gauge(NG) locomotives [1].

Neither the extent, or the destiny, of this railway has been determined
