Tigree is said to be near Jounpore. Have not found any reference to place or battle in 1858. There are accounts of Col Longden in the area with a Gurkha force at the time. Coordinates are for Jaunpur.--[[User:Symorsebrown|Sy]] 02:45, 26 July 2008 (PDT)
