The Military Historical Society
The website advises that the Military Historical Society was founded in 1948 for the advancement of the education of the public by the promotion of the study of the history of the uniformed services of the Crown, of uniforms, weapons, and all aspects of military history, and the dissemination of knowledge relating to such matters. Members include collectors of militaria ranging from badges through medals to postcards, and regimental, military and family historians.
The Society publishes a quarterly, fully illustrated journal, The Bulletin, which contained a wide range of military research, articles and provides book reviews and a forum for members' questions. The Society also produces Special Publications. Further details of these can be found on the website.
The British Library has holdings of The Bulletin - Military Historical Society from Volume 3 no. 9 (Aug. 1952). There was a minor change of title in 1993 to The Bulletin of the Military Historical Society.

From January 2021, with the closure of the Indian Military Historical Society, formed in 1983, the archive of the Journal of that organisation, Durbar became available through the Military Historical Society. The entire 37-year run of Durbar, the journal of the IMHS, is now available to search on the MHS website and Members of the MH Society will be able to view and download the text of all issues of both The Bulletin and Durbar. Non-Members will also be able to search the text and contents lists to see a list of relevant articles, but they will not be able to view the full text unless they join the Society. Back numbers of Durbar can also be ordered from the shop.
The British Library appears to hold issues of Durbar from Volume 1, No. 4.
Oxford University Library (England) holds copies from Volume 16 No. 3 (Autumn 1999), catalogued as Durbar : journal of the Indian Military Historical Society.
