Thank you for all the excellent Pakistan geography edits you've been making recently. I saw you uploaded a new picture today. So that we can make sure it is used correctly by others, can I ask you to fill out the blank Image Origin and License template that I have pasted on to the image page here. Location Infobox
Hi Rabia,
Well done - you are really getting to grips with lots of locations. I hope you don't mind but I have edited the Location Infobox details in your article on Lahore District to point to the appropriate Wikipedia articles. The present day details should really link to articles about the modern district, the modern state and the modern country rather than articles in the FibiWiki which are always going to be looking backwards to the British period. Of coure, these links could be repeated in an External section as well but I haven't done this. If you are happy with this, do you think you can start doing this with your other articles? Thank you. More on Lacation
Apologies for deleting the separate reference to Lahore District - I didn't know that the district was split in two. I see that this has happened to other districts as well. Would it be a good idea to mention this in the History section e.g. "On 1 July 1975, Lahore District was split into . . ."?
Also, I suggested that the links to Punjab and to Pakistan in the Present Day Details section should be to the Wikipedia articles rather than internal links within the FibiWiki. I did this in the Lahore article so all you need to do is to copy and paste these when you create or edit other locations.

Hi Rabia, I altered the location infobox to better fit districts. See Template:District. Seeing as not many have a map, I removed the picture section to make it neater - any maps can just go beneath like other images. Let me know if you can think of any other sections it should have. Changes to adding image license templates
Just to let you know that I have made some changes to the way we license images in fibiwiki. In the past we had to copy and past a license template Sarah made and add a link to the relevant license on the creative commons website etc. I decided that it was time to simplify the procedure now more images are being uploaded.
When you upload a file at Special:Upload in the File description section you should see a drop down next to Licensing where you can select an appropriate license. The one we tend to use the most I have placed at the top of the drop down list. This is the most restrictive license. Select the license and then upload. You will then see it has added the license template for you.
To attribute the image to it's owner or creator edit the licensing section. To do this click edit and you will see the license template looks something like {{Cc-by-nc-nd-3.0}} to attribute the image to a fibiwiki user Valmay simply change it too {{Cc-by-nc-nd-3.0|Details="Owned by [User:Valmay|Valmay Young]."}} or if not a user {{Cc-by-nc-nd-3.0|Details="Owned by Valmay Young."}}
