The '''Delhi-Samasata Railway''' was broad gauge([[Rail_gauge#Broad_Gauge|BG]]) line that
opened in 1897 by the [[Southern Punjab Railway| ‘Southern Punjab Railway’ Company’]](SPR) connecting [[Delhi]] with [[Samasata]] via [[Bhatinda]].


The line passed through [[Muktasar]] and [[Fazilka]] and provided direct connection through [[Samasata]] (now in Pakistan) to [[Karachi]].

The [[Macleodganj Railway]] extension from [[Macleodganj]] (later renamed Mandi Sadiqganj and now in Pakistan) to [[Ludhiana]] was opened by the SPR in 1905.
The terminus of the SPR at [[Samasata]] was an interchange  junction with the [[North Western Railway]](NWR) - [[Lahore-Karachi Mainline]] .
