- 1764 ranked as 11th Battalion of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1765 posted to the 3rd Brigade
- 1775 renumbered the 17th Battalion of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1781 became the 11th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1784 became the 18th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1786 became the 18th Battalion of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1796 absorbed by the 10th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
