Chronology
- 1823 raised as 1st Btn 34th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry following 1796 reorganisation when previous 34th was absorbed by 9th Regiment
- 1824 1st Battalion became 67th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry under Major T Barrow
- 1857 mutinied and disarmed at Agra 1 June.
