'Andrew Yule & Co' was established in 1863 by Andrew Yule , with offices at 8 Mission Row, Calcutta. Their UK based company was 'Yule, Catto & Co'. They were a Managing Agent with interests in tea, coal, jute, shipping, flour milling and electricity generation. The records also show they were importers of locomotives from 'Ruston & Hornsby Co, UK' [1].
