Argada Colliery, was a ‘Bengal Nagpur Railway’ Colliery, it was connected to the '‘BNR Satpura Railway’ 2ft 6in/762mm narrow gauge(NG) system.
The 1926-27 Report states that the coalfield development has made steady progrss and in a position to despatch25,000 tons of coal monthly[1].
The 1936-37 Report states that the coalfield had an output of 257,000 tons for 1935-36, rising to 259,000 tons in 1936-37 [2]
