The Ceded and Conquered Provinces was an area in India that corresponded roughly to the United Provinces. It consisted of territories in Northern India acquired by the East India Company and existed from 1805 to 1834. The area was then briefly a part of the short-lived Presidency of Agra before being renamed the North-Western Provinces in 1836.
