Meerrut Municipality Water Supply Tramway
A water supply system to the town of Meerrut, which took water from the Ganges Canal was constructed by the North-Western Provinces Public Works Department in 1895-96. The water passed through three filter beds and pumped to the city [1].
The filter beds had a hand-worked tramway for moving sand; its gauge and length are unknown [1]
