Rangoon Development Trust Railway
The 'Rangoon Development Trust' was formed in 1920-21 to take over the failed Rangoon 'Town Reclamation Project' - see separate page for more information. The Trust took over the railway, track and wagons [1].
In 1923-25 the whole wagon fleet was replaced with 75 new wagons. The organisation continued until 1952 when the functions were taken over by the 'National Housing and Development Board' [1].
