- 1858 raised as the Bareilly Levy
- 1861 (May) became 41st Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1861 (Oct) became 37th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1864 became the 37th (Meerut) Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
- 1882 disbanded
