This photo has been moved from the [[:Category:Unidentified uniforms]] as it has been identified as an image from a School of Musketry - almost certainly that of Hythe in Kent as the men are wearing the traditional Khaki and not the adapted uniform one would expect if they were in India. The men are all Sergeants and dislay different cap badges which would suggest that this is a course for instructors - most probably on the use of the Lewis machine gun displayed in the foreground.
There are no medals on display which possibly dates this as a pre WW1 photo.

This photo has been moved from the Category:Unidentified uniforms as it has been identified as an image from a School of Musketry - almost certainly that of Hythe in Kent as the men are wearing the traditional Khaki and not the adapted uniform one would expect if they were in India. The men are all Sergeants and dislay different cap badges which would suggest that this is a course for instructors - most probably on the use of the Lewis machine gun displayed in the foreground.

There are no medals on display which possibly dates this as a pre WW1 photo.
