== Summary ==
Hubert SC Waters, standing at far left, was a civil engineer who was sent to assist a group of British sappers & miners build a railway to the Persian border about 1918. He spoke frequently about times he spent in Ahmedwal & Zahidan which are in the vicinity of the Nushki Extension Railway. For his service on the railways, on the North West Frontier 1918-1919, he was awarded the Afghan War Medal.
