  • 1857 raised as Jallundur Punjab Regiment then regularized as 21st Punjab Regiment
  • 1861 became 29th Regiment of Bengal Native Infantry
  • 1864 became 29th (Punjab) Bengal Native Infantry
  • 1885 became 29th (Punjab) Bengal Infantry
  • 1901 became 29th Punjab Infantry
  • 1903 became 29th Punjabis
  • 1922 became 10th/15th Punjab Regiment
  • 1947 allocated to Pakistan on Partition
