== Synopsis ==
Once it was decided that forces should be withdrawn from [[Afghanistan]], General Nott left [[Kandahar]] for [[Kabul]] and General England took the remainder of the garrison from Kandahar to [[Sind]] via [[Quetta]]. This was accomplished with little interference from the surrounding tribes.
