The Ajmer Regiment was an Indian States Forces, or ISF Regiment raised during the Second World War.
The 2nd Ajmer Regiment saw action in Burma. It is mentioned as part of the 36th Indian Infantry Brigade under Brigadier L.G.Thomas (K.S.Thimayya from 4/1/45). [1]
